Tie-dye and spurs: Skijoring is back in Grand Lake

Skijoring combines many Grand County’s most iconic traditions — ranching, horseback riding, skiing and snowboarding. Starting on Friday, crowds can cheer on cowboys and cowgirls as they zip through downtown Grand Lake at Grand Lake Skijoring on Feb. 27-March 1. Heavy equipment crews have covered Main Street in snow. Organizers have set up a slalom course featuring jumps and banks.
