Bulldogs get their Olympians back in time for postseason run

DULUTH — Ninth-ranked Minnesota Duluth will have its Swedish Olympians back in the lineup this weekend for a best-of-three WCHA quarterfinal series against Minnesota State at Amsoil Arena. Puck drop between the fourth-seeded Bulldogs (19-12-3 overall, 15-10-3 WCHA) and fifth-seeded Mavericks (15-17-2, 9-17-2) is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday and, if necessary, Sunday at Amsoil Arena.
