East Lansing's KJ Torbert joins dad in winning Michigan Mr. Basketball

Before every game of his senior season at East Lansing, KJ Torbert would get a reminder from his dad. The pregame father-son conversations would vary from game to game. But it would always include a central theme about the potential to create a multi-generational basketball legacy. "He would always tell me that we could be the first father-son duo to win Mr. Basketball," KJ said last week. "He was having talks with me before every game, trying to help me accomplish my goals."
