3 North Jersey girls reach state finals - 2 returnees and a 10 seed
ATLANTIC CITY – River Dell junior Jocelyn Danbe pushed her way back to the state finals. Danbe took care of Ellie Kisselbach (Phillipsburg), 12-0, in the 114-pound semifinals March 13 at Boardwalk Hall and will return to the state finals for the second straight year. She will be one of three North Jersey girls looking to be on top of the podium and is the first two-time finalist in school history. Danbe, the top seed in her weight class, will try to become the school’s first state champion.
