Judd Apatow's Pee-Wee Herman Movie Heads To Netflix

It was in the halcyon days of 2010 when Judd Apatow announced he’d be producing a new Pee-Wee Herman movie. Nearly five years later, and it seems that the Paul Reubens and Paul Rust co-written film is inching towards being a reality with a forward-thinking company possibly putting its weight behind it.

That’s right folks, The Wrap is reporting that the as-of-yet untitled Pee-Wee Herman movie is getting close to making a deal with streaming giant Netflix, putting yet another feather in the company’s cap and solidifying its stature as a worthy foe for studios and TV networks. Despite moving from Universal and still no director signed up, Apatow still remains behind the movie.
