Sitcom 'Coach' With Craig T. Nelson Is Coming Back To TV & 'Alien Nation' Is Getting A Reboot

Maybe it's time to say enough already: "24" got a limited series renewal, "The X-Files" and "Twin Peaks" are both set to return, and now, another show is returning probably for no other reason than the respective rights holders still have this sitting around and it's a bit cheaper than producing something from scratch.

And so, over at NBC, they are reviving the '90s sitcom "Coach," and it will actually be a sequel series. Craig T. Nelson is back in the titular role, but there's a bit of a twist. Here's the synopsis from EW: Coach Hayden Fox, in the present day, has retired from coaching. He is called back to become assistant coach to his own grown son, who is the new head coach at an Ivy league school in Pennsylvania that is just starting up a new team.
