Kris Jenner Really Is Trying to Trademark the Word "Momager" for New Lifestyle Platform
Come to momager! Kris Jenner is indeed attempting to trademark the word "momager," a source close to the Kardashian family matriarch tells Us Weekly — and it's for yet another business endeavor.
TMZ first reported this week that the reality star, 59, had filed legal documents to secure the trademark for "momager." If granted, other people who want to use the description must seek Jenner's permission or she could sue from her end.

"It's the platform for a new lifestyle brand she is launching," the Jenner insider tells Us. "Empowering moms/women/etc. It's the next layer for her. She’s really quite genius. It will be called Momager."
Other well-known Hollywood momagers include Tina Knowles, Dina Lohan, and Tish Cyrus.

Jenner's tenacity as a momager has been well documented with her family's ascent to fame. In a recent profile with the New York Times, Jenner credited her girls — Kourtney, 36, Kim, 34, Khloe, 30, Kendall, 19, and Kylie, 17 — for their commitment to building the family's empire.

"It doesn't mean that we're always looking for more or that we're greedy," Jenner noted to the paper. "There's a lot of people that have great ideas and dreams and whatnot, but unless you're willing to work really, really hard, and work for what you want, it's never going to happen. And that's what's so great about the girls. It's all about their work ethic." (Kris is also mom to 28-year-old Rob Kardashian.)
