Joe Wright Gets In 'The Lifeboat' With Anne Hathaway A couple of years ago, fresh off her Oscar win for "Les Miserables," Anne Hathaway signed up to produce and star in "The Lifeboat," an adaptation of the novel by Charlotte Rogan. And then we didn't hear much. But the project is back out on the water with a promising director in tow. Deadline reports that Joe Wright is in talks to helm the picture. William Broyles Jr. ("Apollo 13," "Jarhead," "Flags Of Our Fathers") has adapted the book that tells the story of newlywed Grace Winter, who stands trial for murder in 1914, after surviving the sinking of the transatlantic ship Empress.
