419 children and grandchildren of railway workers spend their summer holidays in Gugark children's camp

YEREVAN, September 2. /ARKA/. Some 419 children and grandchildren of railway workers have spent their summer holidays in Gugark children's camp in Lori province, the press office of the South Caucasus Railways CJSC reported on Tuesday.

This year's number is more than two times greater than that of the previous year (201 children). One session in the camp lasts 12 days. The camp hosts kids aged from 7 to 15.

This year was remarkable for the South Caucasus Railways managers' decision to pay income tax for the parents of these children. This means all the expenses related to children's staying in the camp have been borne by the company.

Besides, if before the company used to invite only children of its employees to the camp, this year it invited also their grandchildren.

South Caucasus Railway, a subsidiary of Russian Railways, runs Armenian Railway, which was handed over to the South Caucasus Railway on February 13, 2008 for 30-year concession management with a right to prolong the management term for other 10 years. ---0----
