Edmonton police don’t know how big the problem is after finding deficiencies at all 18 short-term social housing sites they’ve inspected, Chief Rod Knecht says. Project Watch made headlines last spring when detectives revealed people were living in squalid, bug-infested rooms at several west Edmonton motels under programs run by Alberta Health Services and Alberta Human Services.
