Capitec earnings to gain

Capitec Bank says it expects a 22-26 percent increase in headline earnings per share for the six months to August.

Johannesburg - Capitec Bank announced on Friday that it expects a 22-26 percent increase in headline earnings per share for the six months to August.

The South African commercial bank sees headline earnings per share for the period coming in at between 1 242 cents and 1 283 cents, up from 1 018 cents per share reported in the prior year.

The full results are expected on or about September 29.
