Photo released of person of interest in attempted abduction of 8-year-old near Stanley Park

Vancouver police have created a “large presence” in Stanley Park after the attempted abduction of an eight-year-old girl Friday morning. Around 8:30 a.m., the girl was approached and grabbed by a man at the north foot of Denman Street near the seawall, police said in a release.
