New justice minister introduced to ministry staff
Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan introduced last Saturday the newly appointed justice minister Arpine Hovhannisyan to the ministry’s staff, the press service of the government said.
The decree on the appointment of Arpine Hovhannisyan as new minister was signed by President Serzh Sargsyan the day before. Ms. Hovhannisyan, who was a parliament member from the governing Republican Party of Armenia, replaced Hovhannes Manukyan.
When introducing her to the staff the Prime Minister said Ms. Hovhannisyan was picked up to fill in the vacant position due to her experience, professional skills and impartiality.
Abrahamyan expressed confidence that together with the professional team of the ministry the newly appointed minister will solve the immediate problems for the sphere, and carry out reforms envisaged by the government program.
The prime minister congratulated Ms. Hovhannisyan and wished her success.
The new minister thanked the President and the Prime Minister for their high trust in her and noted that through teamwork it will be possible to solve all the tasks. -0-
