Watch: First Trailer For 'Colonia' Starring Emma Watson & Daniel Brühl

For someone who flirted with the idea of retiring from acting once “Harry Potter” was over, Emma Watson’s been building quite the interesting career since. She first showed her non-Hermione potential in “The Perks Of Being A Wallflower,” and since then has built up an impressive resume, working with Sofia Coppola on “The Bling Ring,” Seth Rogen on “This Is The End,” Darren Aronofsky on “Noah,” and coming up, Bill Condon on “Beauty & The Beast” and James Ponsoldt in “The Circle.”

More imminently from the young actress is a film that just premiered at TIFF, “Colonia.” From German director Florian Gallenberger, it’s set in 1974 Chile in the midst of Augusto Pinochet’s coup, and sees Watson as a flight attendant who infiltrates a sect run by a former Nazi (Michael Nyqvist) in order to rescue her captive boyfriend (Daniel Bruhl).
