President Sargsyan attends opening of Opera Suite Hotel in Yerevan
President Serzh Sargsyan attended today the opening of a four-star Opera Suite Hotel in downtown Yerevan.
The 15-storey hotel’s total area is 1,130 square meters. Hotel’s sales manager Adrina Sedrakyan said the rooms are equipped with Italian-made king-and- queen-sized beds, small kitchens, minibars, TV sets and safe boxes. Rooms are also climate controlled with free high speed internet.
In the basement there is a parking area for 14 cars. The hotel has also offices, conference rooms, fitness center with modern equipment, a spa and a swimming pool.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Carlo Verdelli, the deputy director of Renco construction firm in charge of asset management, said he and his colleagues will be using the best international experience in running the hotel, which they had acquired when working in Europe, Africa and Asia.
The hotel employs 64 workers, all fluent in foreign languages with average salary of 240,000 drams. (about $ 500). Construction of the hotel began in 2011 and ended in April 2015. -0-
