Chelsea fullback Azpilicueta: No-one gives up in Premier League

Chelsea fullback Cesar Azpilicueta has hailed the intensity of the Premier League.

Azpilicueta has learned from his three years in England that no one gives up in the Premier League.

"Often in Spain you are winning 2-0 and there are 15 minutes left and the game is as good as over," he told the Daily Mail.

"The tempo drops and you control the match; in England that doesn't happen. The opposition put another striker on. They start putting the long balls into the area and if you concede in the 90th minute then you suffer in injury time too. It's a different mentality. Right until the last kick they give everything."
