Court ruling on ‘VCC’ trademark issue appealed by Vancouver Community College

Vancouver Community College has filed an appeal after a judge tossed out the school’s trademark infringement case last month against a private career college. In 2011, the community college filed a lawsuit against Vancouver Career College, alleging the private college’s marketing campaign, which used the same initials “VCC,” infringed on the trademark of the older, more established community college.
