Cyclist dies after losing control on stormy Vancouver Island highway

A cyclist is dead after an accident on Vancouver Island involving a pickup during a storm. Just after 11:30 a.m. Thursday, a lone cyclist was riding toward Ucluelet on Highway 4, through the Hydro Hill area, when he is believed to have lost control of his bicycle and crossed the median into oncoming traffic.
