Ameriabank unveils online money transfer service
Burastan Movsisyan, head of Technology and Operations unit at Ameriabank, told a news conference today that the bank is launching a new service, which can be used to make international money transfers to its customers’ accounts without leaving home.
She said anyone wishing to make such an international money transfer needs to enter the menu on the bank’s official website, register and receive an encrypted code, then indicate the amount and send the money. The entire operation takes a few seconds, according to Movsisyan.
She said money transfers can be made by customers of any international bank to the account of any customer of Ameriabank.
According to her, this service can compete with well-known money transfer systems. She added that the safety of online transactions is very high, and the commission is 2%.
"We believe that this service will become very popular in view of the international trend of transition to remote customer services, which is much more convenient than visiting a bank", Movsisyan said.
