Armenia to draft 1,444 reservists for three-month training

YEREVAN, June 23, /ARKA/. The Armenian government decided today to draft 1,444 army reservists for three-month training beginning on August 1 and ending on October 30.

The decree applies to privates, non-commissioned officers and officers. The government said the training aims to refresh and improve their combat skills.

Under a relevant law, reservists participating in training assemblies enjoy all benefits of military personnel and keep their civilian jobs. They will be paid for each month of training. If necessary, in the course of the planned training drafted reservists may also be involved in combat duty.-0-
