Artsakh president creates Public Council

Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan signed a decree on Monday establishing Public Council, Harutyunyan's press office reported.

YEREVAN, September 12. /ARKA/. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan signed a decree on Monday establishing Public Council, Harutyunyan's press office reported.

It said the Public Council is a deliberative body and all its members are elected voluntarily on a voluntary basis.

According to the decree, the statute of the Council was approved and 8 members were appointed to organize the process of the election of the other 17 members of the body within the terms stipulated by the Council's statute.

The decree will enter into force on the day following its official publication and will remain in force until the expiration of the term of office of the current President of Artsakh. -0-
