Kate Winslet To Star In Biopic Of Model-Turned-War Photographer Lee Miller
Lately, it would seem that Kate Winslet is enjoying playing characters based on real life figures. She's in theaters this fall playing the work wife of the titular Apple titan in "Steve Jobs," and she's got a role in Yorgos Lanthimos's upcoming period drama "The Favourite," taking the role of Sarah, Duchess Of Marlborough, and now she's lining up the lead in a new biopic.

Winslet will star in a movie about the life of model-turned-war photographer Lee Miller. Based on the book by Miller's son Antony Penrose, and with the producers granted access to photos and diaries, the movie will tell the tale of the fascinating life of the woman who was a model, muse, and journalist during some of the most quickly changing eras of the 20th century.
