Protection of State Information legislation will not contravene constitution

The proposed protection of state information legislation will in no ways contravene the freedoms enshrined in the constitution‚ President Jacob Zuma assured on Sunday‚ adding that the government remained steadfast in its commitment to freedom of expression and a free media.
