Calling it among the "most difficult" of sentences to render, a provincial court judge has handed a $2,000 fine and a two-year driving ban to a Williams Lake man who drifted into the oncoming lane of Highway 5 North in Kamloops, resulting in a crash that paralyzed his passenger and killed another driver.
