Michael Jackson ‘Thriller’ homage takes to Vancouver streets

It was close to 3 p.m. and something evil was lurking near False Creek, where 80 zombified dancers gathered to pull off their best versions of the classic moves in Michael Jackson’s hit music video “Thriller.” Saturday’s event, called Thrill The World Vancouver, was part of an international attempt to break the world record for most participants performing the dance simultaneously. Special effects makeup artists from Blanche Macdonald Centre spent the afternoon putting ghoulish faces on participants.
