It was all the way back in 2011 when Terrence Malick first got cameras rolling on his Austin music scene movie aka "Weightless." All we know so far about the movie is that it's a tale of sexual obsession and betrayal that involves two love triangles, Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara, Cate Blanchett, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Michael Fassbender, Holly Hunter, Val Kilmer, Haley Bennett, and many, many more are part of the cast (though who makes the final cut, remains to be seen), and Malick filmed concert scenes at Austin City Limits in 2011 and 2012 featuring Arcade Fire, Iron & Wine, Fleet Foxes, and Black Lips. And while there's still no whisper of when this movie might be completed, it seems there's another name that was part of the production.
