Armenian Catholicos expresses gratitude to Iranian authorities for supporting Armenia

“His Holiness expressed his concerns regarding the concessions imposed by Azerbaijan on Armenia and the ongoing encroachments on the sovereign territory, which hinder the processes of establishing a stable peace and security environment in the region. He also spoke about the importance of protecting the just rights of Artsakh Armenians and touched upon the problems of preserving Artsakh’s spiritual and cultural heritage.

Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour presented to the Armenian Catholicos the programs aimed at strengthening educational and cultural ties between the two countries.
The head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization expressed confidence that the dialogue and cooperation between religions will be an important stimulus for strengthening friendship between peoples and overcoming the existing challenges in the region.
