Opposition movement removes tents from outside parliament building to switch to new stage of struggle againt Pashinyan’s government

Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the leader of an opposition movement seeking to make Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan step down, told his supporters late on Thursday to vacate the central Baghramyan street in the capital Yerevan on June 14 morning, saying also that that sate of their struggle was over./pp

The protesters kept a major street in the Armenian capital blocked for 4 days. On June 12 they tried to break through the riot police cordon into the parliament building but were stopped and dispersed after police used stun grenades. Tens of people, including police officers, were injured in the clash./pp

The archbishop said on Thursday meetings with various political forces will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday./pp
