Opposition MP calls ‘the authorities’ crackdown on Dashnaktsutyun’ unlawful

YEREVAN, June 18. /ARKA/. Artsvik Minasyan, the secretary of Armenia’s Hayastan opposition party, pointed out a “crackdown on Dashnaktsutyun by the authorities” and called it unlawful and immoral./pp “The Armenian authorities use all means to fight against people and political powers that have declared their stance in support of Armenia and Artsakh,” Minasyan stated at a press conference on Tuesday./pp

Minasyan claimed that the authorities have been “attacking” Dashnaktsutyun for long, using various methods, such as ban on entry to Armenia, searches and detentions./pp “A total of five people are currently under arrest. One person has a foreign travel ban. These numbers do not include the people who were detained during the Tavush for Homeland protests,” Minasyan said./p
