В это просто невозможно поверить, но Грузия, дебютант европейских соревнований, выходит в плей-офф Евро-2024 с третьего места в своей группе. В заключительном матче группового этапа была одержана первая победа турнире, да не над кем-нибудь, а над самой Португалией во главе с Криштиану Роналду. Кто мог поверить в такое перед турниром?

Даже с учетом того, что Португалия решила свои задачи, а Грузия очень неплохо смотрелась в первых двух своих матчах, где им удалось разжиться историческим очком, букмекеры и специалисты почти не верили в победу грузин. Считалось, что для дебютанта будет колоссальным успехом даже вторая ничья, пусть и со слабо мотивированным соперником и можно будет, хлопая в ладоши, с почестями распрощаться со столь дерзким и успешным новичком.

Однако реальность превзошла все ожидания: умопомрачительная победа грузинской сборной вызвала волну ликования по всей стране. Грузинские болельщики, известные своей страстной поддержкой сборной, очень рады этому беспрецедентному достижению.

От Тбилиси до Батуми улицы заполнены восторженными фанатами, размахивающими грузинскими флагами и скандирующими в унисон. Неожиданный триумф над такой сильной сборной, как Португалия, объединил нацию в гордости и экстазе.

Тысячи жителей Тбилиси вышли на площади столицы, празднуя небывалый успех своей сборной. Ликующие фанаты заполнили центр города, запуская фейерверки, а движение на набережной реки Куры было полностью блокировано.
