Завтра, 29 июня, в Берлине пройдет первый матч плей-офф чемпионата Европы по футболу. Игры на вылет откроют команды Италии и Швейцарии: одни попытаются одержать вторую итоговую победу, а другие - преподнести очередную сенсацию в Германии. Швейцария обыграет Италию на Евро-2024?

Швейцария и Италия готовятся к захватывающей схватке, заняв вторые места в своих группах. Думается, что обе команды выходят на очную встречу примерно с равными шансами на успех и не факт, что в основное время матча будет выявлен победитель. Вполне возможно, что потребуется и дополнительное время, а может и серия послематчевых пенальти.

Если матч затянется, то кажется, что в таком случае Италия,  благодаря своему богатому опыту в матчах "на вылет" и присутствию Джанлуиджи Доннаруммы в воротах, имеет все же чуть более предпочтительные шансы. Эксперты склоняются к тому, что шансы Италии победить немногим выше, но верят в возможность ничейного исхода в основное время матча.

Швейцария, с другой стороны, в прошлом демонстрировала стойкость против соперников с более высоким рейтингом. Например, вполне могли обыграть Германию в групповом раунде, а на Евро-2020 обыграли команду Франции. Итальянцам есть о чем призадуматься.

Создается впечатление, что действующие чемпионы Европы реально испытывают сложности в атаке, ведь за три игры забито всего три мяча. Эта неэффективность перед чужими воротами потенциально является слабостью, которой Швейцария вполне может воспользоваться во время предстоящего матча.

Почему Швейцария опасна для Италии на Евро?

Способность Швейцарии оставаться сильной в обороне, расстраивая конкурентов своим хладнокровием, стала ключевым аспектом успеха в последних матчах. Битва против Германии, где швейцарцы довели игру до ничьей, продемонстрировала их мощь в обороне. А если упомянуть, что "аутсайдеры" умеют обыгрывать явных фаворитов, как было с Францией в 2020 году, разница между конкурентами сокращается до минимума.

Добавим, что наши конкуренты играли друг с другом на групповом этапе прошлого Евро - сборная Италии в блестящем стиле одержала победу над швейцарцами со счетом 3:0.

Однако после этого обе команды попали в одну отборочную группу чемпионата мира по футболу и оба матча завершились вничью. Более того, первое место в той группе, обеспечившее прямое попадание на мундиаль, выиграла Швейцария, а не итальянцы, которые на мировой турнир не попали.

Новый матч Швейцарии и Италии обещает стать ожесточенной и продолжительной битвой.
