Yerevan to build new stadium with prefabricated ‘sandwich panels’

A new state-of-the-art stadium constructed from prefabricated sandwich panels is set to rise in Yerevan, marking a significant development in the city’s sports infrastructure. This announcement was made during a meeting at the city hall on Monday by Arsen Makvetsyan, head of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department of the municipal administration./pp

The new stadium will have a seating capacity of over 1,000 spectators and will be equipped to host training sessions as well as major international tournaments and competitions across various sports disciplines. The building will span 60x80 meters, featuring a multifunctional field measuring 40x20 meters with a height of 9-10 meters, suitable for a variety of sports activities./pp
Preliminary estimates suggest that the design phase will take approximately five months.
