US-Armenia Eagle Partner military exercises start in Yerevan

YEREVAN, July 15. /ARKA/. Joint US-Armenia military exercises started in the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy in Yerevan, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported on Monday./pp

The opening ceremony was attended by Armenia’s Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and the US Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien./pp

In his speech, Suren Papikyan said:/pp “I highly value this cooperation, which is aimed at enhancing the level of interoperability between units participating in international peacekeeping missions within the framework of peacekeeping operations./pp

Armenia is hosting the Eagle Partner 2024nbsp; military exercises, scheduled for July 15-24 and aimed at preparing troops for participation in international peacekeeping missions. These exercises involve peacekeeping brigade servicemen from the Armenian Armed Forces, US Army Europe and Africa, and the Kansas National Guard./pp

The primary goals of the exercises are to enhance the coordination of units participating in international peacekeeping missions, share advanced management and tactical communication experience, and improve the combat readiness of the Armenian units./p br
