The interlocutors discussed opportunities of sectoral cooperation within the framework of the established political dialogue between Armenia and Oman, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.

In particular, the sides touched upon the issues of strengthening regional interconnectivity and stressed the importance of nblocking and expanding economic and transport communications.nbsp;

In this context, Mirzoyan presented the Crossroads of Peace project developed by the Armenian government and stressed the opportunities for regional stability and economic development that will be opened as a result of its implementation.

The implementation of programmes in the field of digitalisation, which are of mutual interest, was also discussed.

The Armenian Minister also presented to the interlocutor the security situation in the South Caucasus, including the importance of concluding a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.-0-
