Armenia and Oman discuss cooperation in the spheres of economy and digitalisation

YEREVAN, 16 July. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who is in New York on a working visit, met with Omani Minister of Economy Saeed Mohamed Al Dahri on Tuesday.br/pp/pp

The interlocutors discussed opportunities of sectoral cooperation within the framework of the established political dialogue between Armenia and Oman, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported./pp/pp

In particular, the sides touched upon the issues of strengthening regional interconnectivity and stressed the importance of nblocking and expanding economic and transport communications.nbsp;/pp

In this context, Mirzoyan presented the Crossroads of Peace project developed by the Armenian government and stressed the opportunities for regional stability and economic development that will be opened as a result of its implementation./pp

The implementation of programmes in the field of digitalisation, which are of mutual interest, was also discussed./pp

The Armenian Minister also presented to the interlocutor the security situation in the South Caucasus, including the importance of concluding a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.-0-/p
