​Redknapp denies talk of Al Jazira move

Former QPR and Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has denied reports linking him to a vacant managerial position in Dubai, according to the London Evening Standard.

The 68-year-old was reportedly in talks with Al Jazira about the possibility of taking charge of the UAE side earlier in the week.

Agent Barry O'Connor told the Sun that Redknapp had emerged as a target due to his extensive contacts within the game: "Harry is wanted by Jazira to help with their current position.

"His knowledge is second to none and he would be able to speak to quality players about playing in the UAE."

But Redknapp has now dismissed claims that he is in line for a role at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium as little more than rubbish.
