YEREVAN, August 5. /ARKA/. The Competition Protection Commission (CPC) of Armenia fined LLC Global Shipping approximately 53 million drams for engaging in unfair competition and misleading the general public./pp

The CPC found out that from January 1, 2022, to April 25, 2023, at least 26% of air deliveries from China to Armenia exceeded the advertised maximum delivery period of ten days. This timeframe was prominently stated on the company’s main website./pp

Additionally, while the website's main page advertised a 5-10 working days delivery period for air shipments from China to Armenia, the General Terms and Conditions section of the same site indicated that delivery times were conditional and that Global Shipping bore no responsibility for delays. This discrepancy between different sections of the website contributed to the misleading of customers./pp
