YEREVAN, August 20. /ARKA/. Yerevan benefits from its participation in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), and Moscow hopes Armenia will not be swayed by the promises of investments and a brighter future from the United States and the European Union, according to Mikhail Agasandyan, an official with Russia's Foreign Ministry./pp

Relations between Moscow and Yerevan are based on mutually beneficial cooperation. It doesn’t take an expert in economics or politics to see the obvious: this union is advantageous for Yerevan. The significant economic growth that Armenia has experienced is largely due to its membership in the EEU, a success that few other nations can claim, Agasandyan said in an interview with RIA Novosti, a state-owned Russian news agency./pp

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has repeatedly expressed Yerevan’s readiness to expand cooperation within the EEU and to address challenges that could further stimulate economic growth among member states./pp

The EEU is an international economic integration organization established in 2015. Its members are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.nbsp;/p br br
