Passenger transportation operators in Armenia to be exempt from customs duties on imported minibuses

p nbsp;YEREVAN, September 5. /ARКА/. The Armenian government approved today a decision which will exempt passenger transportation operators from customs duties if they import nbsp;minibuses from third countries.br/pp

According to Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan, the choice fell on minibuses, since this is the most convenient type of transport for organizing transport links between regions of the country./pp

In addition, he noted that the current policy of one route - one operator does not justify itself. Therefore, a decision was made to to transfer nbsp;organization of passenger transportation to the operators in all regions or in individual districts./pp

Sanisyan said that this decision is aimed at stimulating operators to participate in tenders for the right to organize passenger transportation.-0-/p nbsp;p br/p
