The movement of vehicles through the checkpoint “Upper Lars” on the Russian-Georgian border has been restored, the Russian Ministry of Transport reported in the evening of October 7.br/pp “The passage of persons and vehicles across the state border is carried out in the normal mode,” itnbsp;said in a statement quoted by Interfax./pp
Traffic was suspended due to ongoing repair work on the Georgian side./pp
The Upper Lars is located in Russian North Ossetia on the Georgian Military Road leading from Russia to Georgia./pp
