On September 30, 2024, the Anti-Corruption Court accepted for consideration another claim of the Prosecutor General's Office on confiscation of property of illegal origin./pp
The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illegal Origin of the Prosecutor General's Office submitted a petition to the court demanding confiscation of 14 real estate properties, 8 movable properties and 5 billion 92 million drams from former MP Aleksander Sargsyan and his affiliates in favor of the Republic of Armenia, the statement said./pp
Earlier it was reported that by decision of the Investigative Department of the National Security Service on July 9, 2018, the property of Aleksander Sargsyan was seized./pp
During the investigation of criminal cases brought against Aleksander Sargsyan, the latter voluntarily transferred to the state an amount equivalent to 18.5 million US dollars, the Prime Minister's Office reported. -0-/p
