Three resignations in Armenia in one day: PSRC, Ministry of Territorial Administration and Ministry of Economy

YEREVAN, October 11. /АРКА/. The October 10 resignation of the Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia, Gareginnbsp;Baghramyan was followed by two more resignations of senior officials./pp
Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Hakob Vardanyan was removed from his post and Deputy Minister of Economy, Narek Teryan submitted a request for resignation./pp
Vardanyan held this position since 2018, and previously worked in the energy sector. Teryan was appointed to the post in 2021./pp
No reasons that prompted this string of resignations were disclosed. All three have submitted a request for resignation at their own request./pp
On October 9, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting to discuss the problems related to the quality of electricity supply and the possibilities of their solution./pp
Pashinyan emphasized the importance of supplying subscribers with high-quality electricity, taking successive steps in this direction by relevant agencies, including with the aim of effective management of the sector./pp
