Французский политик оценил шансы Франсуа Байру избежать отставки

There is such chaos in the French parliament that it will be difficult for the new Prime Minister Francois Bayre and his government to avoid the risk of a new vote of no confidence. This is the view expressed by Francois Asselino, head of the People's Republican Union party, in a conversation with Izvestia.

"I think he will appoint ministers with more political weight than those appointed by the previous head of government, France is on the brink of disaster, so you need a government capable of imposing its political course. However, there is such chaos in the National Assembly that it will be difficult for Bayrou and his government to avoid the risk of a new vote of no confidence," he said.

On December 13, French President Emmanuel Macron appointed the 73-year-old leader of the centrist Democratic Movement, Francois Bayrou, as the new prime minister.

The previous head of the Cabinet, Michel Barnier, was given a vote of no confidence on December 4.
