Man Utd to recall Keane from Preston

Manchester United are set to recall striker Will Keane from his loan spell with Championship outfit Preston North End.

The Daily Mirror is reporting Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal made the decision to bring Keane back to Old Trafford after meeting with the 22-year-old on Tuesday.

United had originally agreed to loan keen to Preston for the remainder of the 2015/16 season, but Van Gaal is desperate to add firepower to his faltering strike force.

The Red Devils have scored just 22 goals in 19 Premier League fixtures this campaign and have not won in their past eight outings.
