Man Utd boss LVG admits first yellow for red-carded Mata was stupid

Louis van Gaal believes Juan Mata was silly in receiving to yellow cards and a subsequent red in Sunday's 1-0 loss to West Bromwich Albion.

The Spanish midfielder was booked by referee Mike Dean for preventing a free-kick in the 23rd minute before being given his marching orders when catching Darren Fletcher just three minutes later.
