Newcastle's board of directors are holding talks on Tyneside following the club's latest defeat under Steve McClaren, reports Sky Sports.

The Magpies were beaten at home by fellow relegation strugglers Bournemouth on Saturday, leaving them marooned in the Premier League's bottom three with nine games remaining.
