Sunderland chief executive quits over Johnson sex case
Margaret Byrne has resigned as Sunderland chief executive following criticism of her role in allowing former winger Adam Johnson to continue playing whilst awaiting a court hearing on sex charges
Johnson is now facing jail after being found guilty of sexual activity with a girl aged 15.
