"I Wouldn't Want To Go Through That Kind Of Experience Again": Joel Edgerton Talks Making 'Jane Got A Gun'

To say that "Jane Got A Gun" had issues is an understatement. Originally set to be directed by Lynne Ramsay,  the filmmaker abruptly left the movie after clashing with producers literally moments before cameras were set to roll, thus throwing the Natalie Portman-starring western into chaos. Gavin O'Connor ("Warrior," "Pride And Glory") quickly stepped in to replace Ramsay and keep the movie going, while Joel Edgerton lent a hand in rewriting the script and swapped roles, going from playing the villain (which went to Ewan McGregor), to taking the role of the hero.
