England skipper Rooney pleased with preparation for Euro 2016
Manchester United star Wayne Rooney is pleased with the build up England have had in the build-up to Euro 2016 and the fact he is skippering the Three Lions in a major tournament minus any niggling injuries.
"It is a proud moment for myself to captain a team in a tournament. It is a young squad but it has a lot of quality. I always believe I was fortunate to benefit by getting in as a 16-year-old. A lot of players in this squad have taken their chance.
