KG Diamond promises $7.5 million investment in jewelry production
YEREVAN, June 30. /ARKA/. KG Diamond company will invest $7.5 million in the jewelry production in Armenia in the next 9 years, according to Armenian economy minister Artsvik Minasyan.
Today the Armenian government has awarded this company permission to operate as a jewelry company at Meridian free economic zone.
The minister said that the company plans to open 15 jobs this year and increase their number to 20 over the next 5 years. The average salary will be $600-800, he said.
He added that the company plans to export its products to Russia, USA, Canada, UK and Saudi Arabia. The company plans also to produce $400 thousand worth products in the first year and gradually increase the output to $1.4 million.
